The data is a guide

Stocking records, species, shorelines, forecasts and water levels come from public sources and can be late, incomplete or wrong. Map pins are approximate. Use the site to plan, not as the final word.

Fishing rules, seasons, limits and license requirements are set by each state. Check the state agency's current regulations before you fish. Following them is your responsibility.

Access and safety

A water showing up here does not mean it is open to the public or safe. Respect posted signs, closures and private property, and judge ice, weather and water conditions for yourself.

Using the site

Personal use is free. Do not try to break, overload or scrape the site in ways that get in the way of other people using it. Public data is available through our published API and MCP endpoints. Third-party data stays under its own license; for example, LurePassion stocking data is CC BY 4.0.

We may change or stop features, alerts or the site itself at any time. We may update these terms and will change the date below when we do.

No warranty

The site is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses that come from using it or relying on its data.
